The Importance Of Concentration

Looking at Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Warren Buffett, Sergey Brin (of Google), David Philo (of Yahoo), Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan and many other successful people. You can see that these personalities achieved great success in their respective fields.

You will find the first African Nobel Laureate, Prof. Also see Wole Soyinka (Nigeria). There is no doubt that these men have made indelible marks for themselves. You might think that these people are geniuses or have some kind of secret power for success. But the magic secret is that there is no secret. It is only one key feature that they fail to lose, and that is the art of concentration.

Concentration is the art of concentrating on a task without any distractions. It is better to study books than classroom work. It’s about staying on track with what you set your mind to do-, which is your vision or goal. It is somehow related to specialization. In fact, it has to do with expertise.

Giving practical biological examples in the organization of life. There are different levels at which living cells exist – from cells to tissues to organs and systems. It is known that the system level is structurally more advanced than the cell. Its activities are complex compared to the simple cell phase. This is simply because more complex life (systems) consist of smaller less complex structures that perform specific activities. That is, they focus on a particular type of action. For example, the human system consists of different types of tissues and organs such as brain cells, nerve cells, sex cells, hair cells, etc. However, the amoeba, for example, which is at the cellular level of organization has only one cell that controls all its activities. So can you compare the amoeba’s productivity to that of humans?

To rise above the average person, you need to complicate yourself by specializing in your field of interest. Instead of spending most of your time on irrelevant fields, you can spend that time learning almost everything about your field. This is what proves your expertise in your field, which shows you know what you are doing. However, it is also important to know or do some other relevant things that may be outside your area. This is not a contradictory statement.

The situation should be looked at from more than one angle. For example, as a writer, I need to have basic computer skills and know some web design or programming to successfully launch and manage my website, e-zine, and publish my ebooks. No knowledge is ever wasted. We can learn things that will add value to our lives, but not distract us from our primary work. The bottom line is this; ‘Know something about everything and know everything about your field’. To be realistic though, no one knows everything. You can only know a lot or almost everything.

Expanding your horizons makes you more knowledgeable and opens doors of opportunities for you. Also, I would love to give a practical example of myself. Before I moved into e-publishing, I occasionally wrote articles and submitted them to public directories. Over time, thoughts of network marketing, offline wholesaling, offline digital printing and publishing, web development, basic computer services, programming and so on came to my mind. I also thought about medical science research.

I felt like I could accomplish everything at the same time, with my work as a writer and college student. I consulted my mentor, and I was advised to prioritize my concrete goals and choose activities that would connect me to achieving those goals. I also learned that being involved in too many things at the same time would get me nowhere. It can serve as a time waster, an energy sapper, and a distraction from my dreams. I decided to stick with persuasive writing/e-publishing and web marketing (based on motivational products and resources), keep up with my academics in others and still excel in all of them. I believe I have made good, realistic and productive decisions. This is because; Being internet based saves me a lot of time, energy and money. All I need to do is give at least 3-4 hours a week for internet work. T

He provides ample available time for my education, writing, faith and personal improvement. A valuable investment, right! I didn’t just bombard myself with all kinds of work, or stick to one activity. I found things that could help me develop my talents and realize my goals better and faster.

Today, I have a strong sense of fulfillment and productivity. I am more satisfied with life and have been able to overcome most of my past problems such as time management and self-esteem. The art of focusing has worked to guide me toward my destination by creating a clear picture of it. I strongly believe that it can work for you, if you are willing to allow it.

I advise that you never give a chance to any source of distraction in your life, especially emotionally or psychologically related. You need to dump criticisms and any obstacles to your success. Think critically before deciding and making decisions. Make productive and realistic decisions to give your life meaning! More importantly, learn and apply self-improvement techniques like time management, goal setting, motivation, leadership, etc. Also learn from others and check yourself regularly. Don’t forget to share what you have and know with others. Remember that; It is only when you focus that you will know where you are going and rise to the pinnacle of achievement.
