The Critical Role of Sodium and Chloride (Salt) in the Diet!

If you look at the periodic table of elements, you’ll see that sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium are the alkaline earth metals. You can tell how interconnected they are by their position.

For example, sodium is number 11 in the periodic table which indicates the number of protons in its nucleus. While magnesium is number 12 on the periodic table, it only has 1 more proton or hydrogen ion than sodium. Potassium is number 19 and calcium is number 20. These four elements are next to each other on the periodic table of minerals for good reason!

Over the years I have wondered about the relationship between sodium, magnesium, potassium and calcium and have come up with the hypothesis that magnesium, potassium and calcium are all molecular conformations of the sodium (11) ion. This is important to understand when we consider why our blood is salted with sodium and not with magnesium, potassium or calcium. The sea is also salty with sodium for many good reasons.

The word formula for my hypothesis of atomic change is as follows:

Sodium (11) + Hydrogen (1) Magnesium (12) Or,

Sodium (11) + Oxygen (8) Potassium (19) Or,

Sodium (11) + Hydrogen (1) + Oxygen (8) Calcium Or,

Sodium (11) + Oxygen (8) + Hydrogen (1) Calcium

As you can see, there are many variations in how the body can convert sodium into other alkaline elements that are needed to maintain its alkaline design. Keep in mind that this transformation of elements is not a chemical reaction but a reaction, I call vibrational intelligence.

The movement of a hydrogen ion to the nucleus of a sodium ion gives rise to the alkaline element magnesium to help regulate body or ocean temperature.

The movement of an oxygen ion to the nucleus of a sodium ion gives rise to the alkaline element potassium to help regulate the delicately alkaline pH of the body’s extracellular and internal fluids.

The movement of a hydrogen ion into the nucleus of a potassium ion gives rise to the alkaline element calcium. It is through sodium ions in the blood that calcium is created to help keep our skeletal structure healthy and strong. In the ocean, it is salt or sodium ions that give rise to the calcium that forms coral calcium, which helps maintain the alkaline design of the ocean at a pH of 8.3.

You see, the molecular transformation of sodium occurs every second of the day with any vibration or movement, such as in an athlete’s movement, as the body uses sodium and hydrogen to keep the body temperature cool.

As you exercise and warm up, the body naturally cools down by converting sodium to magnesium. These changes result in a decrease in blood serum sodium and an increase in urine magnesium. Why? Because the body is controlling the body temperature by converting the blood salt or sodium into magnesium! Without salt you cannot regulate your body temperature!

This same elemental transformation occurs when the body is trying to maintain its alkaline design at a pH of 7.365. When the body is physically or emotionally stressed, metabolic acid waste products increase. As metabolic acids increase through body movements, such as exercise, or when you are stressed, such as worrying about your finances, the body needs more alkalinity to buffer the increase in endogenous acidity and it begins to convert to salt or sodium. Potassium in the blood.

This is why we see a decrease in blood serum sodium and an increase in blood serum potassium in sick, tired, depressed or unfit clients.

The alkaline pH balance of body fluids and the return of the body to a state of health, energy, happiness and fitness cannot be accomplished without mineral salts and especially the basic ion of sodium.

Without salt flowing through our veins and our oceans, there would be no life on Earth!

Just one thing to think about. As you know, most sodium comes to us in the form of sodium chloride. This is no coincidence. When you eat salt or sodium chloride, the body separates these two ions. It’s a matter of chemistry. Sodium ion is used as I described above but chloride ion is used to build our blood. I give you the following formula for the atomic transformation of the chloride ion in iron:

Chloride (17) + Oxygen (8) + Hydrogen (1) from water Iron (26)

What I am suggesting is that salt or sodium chloride not only keeps our blood and body fluids alkaline but it also forms hemoglobin or the iron needed to make blood. So, when you have an iron deficiency someone is actually deficient in sodium chloride!

To limit or eliminate salt from your diet is to set the stage for all diseases and ailments.

It’s not salt that causes high blood pressure. It is a dietary and metabolic acid.

Salt is the soul of the body! And, without generous amounts of whole unrefined salt, the body cannot withstand the daily onslaught of dietary and metabolic acidity.

That’s why I recommend eating more alkaline mineral salts and avoiding acidic foods and drinks. When you do this, your health, energy, happiness and fitness will naturally improve – without drugs!
